I will make sure that all of you will be enjoying our trip and our trip will be going smooth.
While we are waiting to arrive at our first destination , let me tell you a sneak peek about Putrajaya. Putrajaya , Malaysia's federal administrative capital is a modern planned city with construction having started in only the late 1990s and no expense has been spared in creating a world class modern living and working environment. The seat of government was shifted in 1999 from Kuala Lumpur to Putrajaya because of overcrowding and congestion in the former. Kuala Lumpur remains Malaysia's national capital and is the seat of the King, the Parliament, and all the foreign embassies, and the country's commercial and financial centre. Putrajaya was the idea of Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad. It became Malaysia's third Federal Territory, after Kuala Lumpur and Labuan, in 2001. Putrajaya was named after the first Malaysian Prime Minister, Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra Al-Haj, the territory is entirely enclaved within the Sepang District of the state of Selangor. The development of Putrajaya started in the early 1990s until today, major landmarks have been completed and the population is expected to grow in the near future. It might not be the most exciting city on the planet but it sure is pretty. About 38% of the city's 4900 hectare area has been set aside as green areas and indeed its parks are, in my opinion, the top Putrajaya attractions. A central feature to the city is a man-made 650 hectare lake whose tentacles extend into wetland zones, boating and water sports areas.
Putrajaya have a lot of attraction that need to be explore by you guys.Masjid Putra, Masjid Sultan Zainal Abidin, Astaka Morocco, Millenium Monument Wetland and such. I am sure that all of you are so excited for it. There is a lot of attraction that you guys can explore in Putrajaya which is the Prime Minister’s Office at Perdana Putra. The imposing bulding stands atop the main hill in Putrajaya, catching eyes with its’s palatial style green dome and stone walls.Featuring a blend of Islamic and modern archicture, the office complex is where ministers and higher officials work. It is not open to visitors but you can still admire it’s grandeur from the outside. Next, the exquisite Putra Mosque. Rose-tinted granite gives the Putra Mosque its iconic pink hue, an elegance that reflects as remarkably on the inside as it does on the outside. Built by the lake in 1997, the mosque can accommodate up to 15,000 worshippers. Visitors would stop by for photographs with this sophisticated landmark, which drew inspiration from Malay and Middle Eastern influences. You can also go into the Putra Mosque to see the majestic, rosy-pink interiors. Bear in mind, of course, that you should dress modestly and wear the robes provided at the entrance.
Dear tourist, if you love to take a ride on a hot air ballon and if you think the urbanscape Putrajaya is impressive from the ground, wait till you are above it all. You can soar in a hot air ballon at Putrajaya too. are above it all, in a hot air balloon. As the balloon raises you up, you can experience the magic of the Putrajaya panorama that stretches as far as your eyes can see. Many people would have heard about the Putrajaya International Hot Air Balloon at n Fiesta, which attracts balloon enthusiasts and curious visitors from far. After the sky-high adventure, you can enjoy a buffet breakfast and earn yourself a neat certificate to show that you made it! If you are person that would like to enjoy the beauty the beauty of a city you can just go have a ride on cruise on the lake. With many of Putrajaya’s futuristic landmarks perched beautifully by the lake, a cruise lets you discover her sights as you literally go with the flow. There are two kinds of cruise boats available. For “Putrajaya-style” Parisian romance, you can hop on an air-conditioned catamaran, ideal for modern sightseeing or dining excursions. Or you could have a traditional experience on an intimately-sized wooden perahu.
As the conclusion, Putrajaya may not be the first place that comes to mind when you think of Malaysia, but guys is it so impressive when we explore it.
